Produce a Move! Speak to Your Mountain (Why God Is Waiting on You!)

Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.” (Isaiah 45:11)

Are you waiting for God to “do something?” Are you waiting for God to move?

God may be waiting on you!

This may be a shocking revelation to many who have grown up under religious teachings and traditions. What did God mean when He said, “concerning the works of my hands command ye me?”

Under the Old Covenant, Joshua fought against the kings of the Amorites, and He spoke to the sun and commanded it to stand still, and it did, until they won the battle (Joshua 10:12-14). The key here is that Joshua first heard from the Lord. He knew God’s will, and then decreed it into the earth. This was unusual under the Old Covenant, but how much more, as sons and daughters of God, are we to speak to the elements of nature, of the physical world, and command them to come in line with the will and plan of heaven!  (see James 3:6)

Jesus gave us authority, and commanded us to pray after this manner. “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” He also said, “Whatsoever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven.” The original Greek actually says, “Whatever you shall bind on earth, shall be that which is (already) bound in heaven.”

Here’s the Amplified version:

“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth shall have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth shall have [already] been loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19)

Young’s Literal Translation:

“…and I will give to thee the keys of the reign of the heavens, and whatever thou mayest bind upon the earth shall be having been bound in the heavens, and whatever thou mayest loose upon the earth shall be having been loosed in the heavens” (Matthew 16:19)

We should find the will of God and bring it into the earth in our own lives, and in whatever area that the Holy Spirit may direct us. But we cannot do this if we don’t understand the principles. Instead, we will be asking God to do something that is our responsibility to do. Something that He CANNOT do without our cooperation and faith. We are co-laborers with Him, and we have been given authority on the earth!

“Thy will be done on earth as it (has already been established) in heaven.” But instead, we have made a religious prayer out of it. We even have a name for it. We call it “The Lord’s Prayer.” Of course, because the devil wants to obscure the truth under the veil of a religious blanket, thereby rendering its power ineffectual. Like a powerful weapon, we paint it really nice, admire it, show it off, but never actually use it!

How do we use it?

We must access the grace (power) of God.

“We have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand…” (Romans 5:2)

Many are waiting and praying for revival, so that God can move, but God has given us access right now! A revival is a sovereign move of God. Sometimes things work because God moves sovereignly, which He does at times, especially if a person is newly come to the faith, and is a baby. Parents do things for children that they do not do for teenagers and grown adults. But babies are expected to mature and grow up.

“For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.” (Hebrews 5:12)

What much of Western Christianity calls heresy, is actually part of the foundational principles of the faith. How can we mature into the fullness of the measure of the stature of Christ if we neglect the very foundational principles of faith? Or, if we believe what is right is wrong? The foundation must first be laid properly.

God has called us to speak to mountains, and to bring supernatural change into the earth!

We cannot make revival happen. Revival is a sovereign move of God, and God has times and seasons for certain things. The Bible refers to these times as “times of refreshing” that come from the presence of the Lord (see Acts 3:19). However, like the older son in the parable of the prodigal, who could have had access to anything in the father’s house anytime that he had wanted, you can access the grace of God by faith! You can come boldly into the throne of grace, by faith, and produce what is needed! You don’t need revival to access God’s power! You just need faith, and to know who you are and what is available to you!

A mature son or daughter will not change whether there is revival or no revival. It is our Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom! The Kingdom, and everything of the Kingdom is always, and freely available to every son and daughter! All that the Father had in his house was available to the younger son and the older son. The killing of the fatted calf was a sovereign move by the father, but the older son had access to everything in his father’s house all along. He could have killed one of the calves himself.

Did he not know this?

Faith is available when we know the Father’s will. How do we know His will? We have His Spirit, and we have the written Word. There are some things that will always be His will that are contained in His Word and His promises. All of them are “Yes and Amen.” What does this mean? It means that when we receive His promise, mix it with faith, and decree it, the Father says “AMEN,” which means “So be it.” He says YES, ABSOLUTELY! And all of heaven backs your words and brings them to pass, because you have come into agreement and alignment with the Father’s Word and His will.

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” (Job 22:28)

But if an ambassador does not know who he is, and the authority that has been invested in him, how can he be an ambassador?

We are ambassadors for Christ!

We have been given the authority of an ambassador! The ability to speak and act on His behalf, because we have His SPIRIT, and His authority!

“…Peace be unto you: as my Father has sent me, even so I send you. (John 20:21)

(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things that be not as though they were.” (Romans 4:17)

We are children of God. We should act and speak like Him!

It is not “taking away” from the sovereignty of God to speak forth and command natural things to align with His will. To decree what He has already said is to establish His sovereignty, not negate it!

The scripture tells us to “be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might,” but many have no idea how to do that. Grace is accessed by faith, and faith is released through words and actions. We are to be “imitators of God as dear children.” God spoke and said “Let there be light,” and there was light! The Holy Spirit took the Word and brought light into existence. He took the Word and brought all matter into existence. The things which can be seen are not made of things which do appear, as all physical matter is framed and upheld by the Word of God (see Hebrews 1:3, 11:3). In the beginning was the Word, and by it (Him) all things were made, and by Him all things consist.

If all physical matter is framed and upheld by the Word of God, then it is evident that all things are therefore SUBJECT to the same Word! Faith brings physical circumstances and matter into alignment with that which is out of alignment.

What is God’s will? What is authorized in heaven? Is there sickness in heaven? Is there poverty and lack? Is there devastation and destruction? Is there strife? Division? The devil will do everything that he can to bring every evil work, but we are not obligated to receive anything that he does. Many things came against Paul, but as he learned how to access the grace of God through faith (see II Corinthians 12:9, 10), and discovered its unmatched power, he was also able to declare that the Lord delivered him out of all his afflictions (see II Timothy 3:11, Psalm 34:19).

How do you measure the promises, and the Word of God? The measure (of faith) that we measure the Word when we hear it, will be the measure of results that we receive. According to your faith, not God’s ability. Can you believe what is impossible with men? Can you believe to move mountains, not only for your life, but for others?

I asked the Lord some time ago why it seems as though faith is at an all-time low right now in the American church. It is much different than it was 25 years ago, when the Word of Faith movement was strong. He told me that one of the reasons is that many have “tried” the principles of faith, and when things didn’t work out the way that they thought, they became offended and dismissed them (see Mark 4:17).

Faith is not something that we “try.” It is a lifestyle! It is something that we commit to, with no option of retreat!

Then Jesus said to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:31-32)

Those who have no root will get offended and quit if things don’t work out the way that they think that they should, in the timeframe that they think, and many will even turn against what they once claimed to believe. A wise man (or woman) will play until he understands the game, and begins to win. He understands that it takes time to learn the rules and principles of a game, and that he must persevere until he masters them. He understands that it takes time to learn, and that it is a process.

A football player does not become a pro overnight!

We play until we win!

If you are a believer in Jesus, then you have been “born again!” Born of Him! You are no longer a mere man or woman, but rather a supernatural being! A child of the living God! With supernatural gifts and abilities! You have His nature and His attributes! God is a supernatural being who operates by faith. Heaven operates by faith. The devil does not want you to know this. He wants you to become discouraged and quit! He wants you to be ignorant and powerless, but God wants you to win, and to continue to win!
